Our comprehensive oral examinations go far beyond a simple check of your teeth. We carefully evaluate the entire mouth — including gums, lips, tongue, soft tissues, and jaw — to ensure every aspect of your oral health is considered. We also assess your airway, bite, and oral habits, such as grinding, clenching, or thumb-sucking in children, which can impact long-term wellbeing. By identifying even the smallest changes early, we can prevent issues from developing into more serious concerns. This appointment is also the perfect opportunity to provide personalised guidance on home care routines, dietary choices, and preventive steps that support a healthy mouth for years to come.
You’ll receive personalised guidance on daily care, diet, and healthy habits, helping to prevent future problems and support long-term oral health. Our approach is gentle and supportive — especially for children, with each step taken at their pace. If further treatment is required, we provide clear recommendations and referrals to trusted dental or allied health providers.

Protect and strengthen your teeth with professional fluoride and remineralisation treatments. Fluoride helps prevent cavities and supports strong enamel in children, seniors, and adults with medical conditions. Remineralisation restores calcium, phosphate, and other essential minerals to the tooth surface, repairing early decay and strengthening vulnerable enamel. Quick, safe, and pain-free, these treatments help maintain healthy, strong teeth for life.

As a Dental Hygienist, Natalie’s scope of practice is focused on preventive and maintenance care. This includes services such as oral hygiene assessments, professional cleaning (removal of plaque and tartar), application of fluoride and remineralization agents, oral health education, and support for managing conditions like gum disease. She does not perform restorative treatments such as fillings, extractions, or complex diagnostics, which are the role of a dentist.
If further dental treatment is required, Natalie will provide a referral to a trusted local dentist or specialist. She works collaboratively with other dental professionals to ensure you receive the appropriate care in a timely and coordinated manner—supporting you every step of the way.
Natalie can assess and diagnose your periodontal status and provide guidance on maintaining your oral health. However, as Dental Hygiene to You is a mobile service, treatment is limited to the removal of plaque and mild tartar above the gumline.
The service is not equipped with the specialised tools required to treat subgingival calculus (tartar below the gumline) or provide comprehensive periodontal therapy.
If more advanced periodontal treatment is needed, Natalie will refer you to a trusted periodontist or dental provider who can offer the appropriate care. She will ensure your transition is smooth and your ongoing dental health remains supported.
Natalie can provide a pre-orthodontic assessment to evaluate your oral health and identify any factors that may impact orthodontic treatment, such as alignment issues or myofunctional concerns. She also offers Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy evaluations to help assess the function of the muscles involved in breathing, chewing, and swallowing.
If orthodontic treatment is needed, Natalie will refer you to a trusted orthodontist or dental provider who can offer the appropriate treatment plan tailored to your needs.
That’s wonderful to hear! It’s great that you’re already under the care of a trusted provider. Please let Natalie know on your intake forms about any practitioners you are currently seeing, including your Speech Pathologist. This will allow her to liaise directly with them regarding any Myofunctional Evaluation findings or dental results she may discover, ensuring a coordinated and comprehensive approach to your care.
